It’s been an amazing week at Dreamforce! The Salesforce team kicked off the day with energy to get a little extra bounce in everyone’s step  and the Kenandy team has been busy with presentations at nine Dreamforce sessions and incredible engagement at our booth. Many people have been excited to spin the wheel for a chance to win some awesome prizes and we’ve had lots of discussions about the opportunity to bridge the gap between the front office CRM and back office ERP with Kenandy built natively on Salesforce.

We started the morning in the session “From Corsets to IoT Smart Clothing” where Charlie Merrow, CEO of Merrow Sewing Machine Company discussed how Kenandy and Salesforce enabled their 180-year-old family-owned business to create multiple new businesses in weeks and partner with MIT on a ground-breaking IoT initiative: “We took a company that was stuck and turned into a company that innovates.” Kenandy provided not only the ability to innovate, but offered transparency and visibility into operations that were unprecedented, empowering Merrow to execute on new ideas that their legacy ERP system had prevented previously. The result? Merrow employees are happier, more empowered and effective at their jobs, and the new business lines helped double revenues.

Stewart Florsheim, Kenandy’s SVP of Training and Content Development presented “Building a Support Process Using Communities” with Segun De Silva, Partner Premier Success Manager at Salesforce. Together, they showcased Salesforce Communities and Kenandy’s success in leveraging community to increase collaboration and enhance support.

Lead Applications Engineer, and Trailblazer with a keynote cameo, Daniel Peter presented as a part of the Salesforce’s Top ISV Architects panel, where the speakers provided expert tips for developers. Kenandy’s Senior Applications Engineer, Sunil Murali, presented on Building ISV Apps with Force.com + Heroku and discussed application development with Salesforce ISV Technical Evangelist, Lynn Cohen and Abe Pursell, Director of Business Development, Heroku Global Alliances and Channels at Salesforce.

Rohan Patel, Director of Business Consulting at Kenandy, gave a fantastic live demo that showed how Kenandy Cloud ERP drives operational agility. There was also a lot of enthusiasm around Kenandy’s Schedule and Capacity planning demo featured at our booth.

A huge thank you to the Kenandy team and the many partners and customers who helped make Dreamforce happen this year. Each year this conference is a great opportunity to learn and demonstrate our commitment to customer success. If you missed something from Dreamforce, send a note to our team and ask a question, or reach out to schedule a product demo and get your team the freedom to innovate with Cloud ERP built on Salesforce.
