A Few Dreamforce 2015 Highlights

Lkd - Find us at DreamforceWith Dreamforce just a few days off, it seems “the cloud” is enjoying more than just its 15 minutes of fame.  The cloud is business as usual – only faster, cheaper, better – yet also, oh, while you’re moving to the cloud, why not take advantage of the opportunity and improve the way you do business, too?  Yes, there’s a lot of hype – but do not let it obscure the fact that the cloud does, indeed, represent a path to greater profitability – if you know how, or can find the right vendors or consultants who’ll show you the way.

At this year’s show, Kenandy is showcasing how it has leveraged the cloud to bring enterprise-class ERP to midsize companies.  These companies all use Kenandy to become more efficient by automating their operations and taking advantage of features such as mobility, social collaboration, and Kenandy’s global capabilities.  Hype?  Why not listen to a few companies who’ve been there, done that, before deciding.  Attend this “where the rubber meets the road” Dreamforce session, in which Scott Fetzer Electric Group (and Kenandy customer) General Manager Rob Goldiez joins executives from three other manufacturing and distribution companies to discuss the initial challenges and ultimate rewards of moving from legacy on-premise ERP system to a 100% native Force.com system.

Kenandy is also involved in the launch of Salesforce1 Lightning, the much-touted new suite of tools that enables developers to create intuitive, modern interfaces. Kenandy is “Lightning Ready” and will demo the new Lightning Experience at the Kenandy booth. Kenandy Lead Application Developer Daniel Peter goes over what it took to build a reporting app using Lightning Components –  and also how you can use these same technologies to build other apps.

Also, Kenandy Application Engineer Mark Masterson discusses how to integrate machine learning capabilities into the Salesforce1 Platform, and how you can use machine learning to enhance your decision-making in Salesforce.

And Kenandy VP of Marketing Stewart Florsheim joins senior executives from Salesforce and ServiceMax to review the Salesforce technologies you can use to embed Help and training content right into your custom Salesforce application and make your users more successful.
